The tallest mountain in Japan is the only natural attraction that everyone, without exception, strives to see and visit. The mountain has a symmetrical cone of volcanic origin. Fuji-san last erupted in 1707, during which a layer of ash covered the streets of Tokyo.
In clear, cloudless weather, you can see it without leaving the city, although most of the year the mountain is covered with clouds. The most picturesque view occurs in winter or early spring, when the bright white snow cap gives Fujiyama a special charm.
Officially, climbing the mountain is performed in the summer season from July to August. Of course, if you want, you can go at any time of the year, but remember that this is only for experienced tourists. Such walks should be approached with all responsibility, taking into account the weather conditions and their variability, as well as whether you have a fear of heights and diseases for which pressure and temperature drops are not recommended.
